Interesting descriptions of interracial relationships.
I’m aware that some cultures view paleness (not whiteness necessarily) as a status symbol. It didn’t really occur to me that a culture might perceive procreating with a white person as a way to lighten skin or gain status was a thing? Maybe that is nieve of me.
