Also, why can't the grown ass man take care of his own inn instead of relying on his daughter to do it? Just ridiculous the amount of care-taking and emotional labour this woman is meant to be doing for the men around her

Was trying to hit the 50% mark so I could mark it read instead of DNF, but I just cannot. I'm too feminist for this shit. Also too urban. I will never understand people who feel the need to denigrate cities in order to prop up small towns. There are plenty of ways to celebrate small towns without acting like cities are nothing but crime and junkies.

Already feels like a knock-off of the Dream Harbor series, but it's not 1000% shit so I'm going with it for now. The idiotic miscommunication is on thin ice though. Only getting a pass for now because 22 year olds make stupid ass decisions. Same with the "oh the small town is so much nicer than the big city" schtick. Generally, when people leave small towns for big cities it's for damned good reason
