Act 1 was high stakes but fun. Act 2 things started to get pretty bleak. Act 3 is brutal. I'm a couple chapters in and it's genuinely hard to read at some points. The author really has me immersed in the world but unfortunately 'the world' is in the midst of a very honest depiction of war...
