Ok but why has nothing happened and I am entranced by this story!!!! L. V. Russel can write an amazing gothic story, such rich prose. Also when I say that absolutely NOTHING has happened between our FMC and MMC yet I’m kicking and feeling the tension every time they have ANY interaction!

Girl same I’m reading this too and I’m 50% in and nothing has happened but I love it lol so gothic and atmospheric
