ough. the start of the third quarter reminds me of one of my favorite video games (to the moon), because i, too, feel like i am piecing our speaker, our author, slowly together, piece by piece, memory by memory, finding red threads as more scenes are brought forth. it's still so so good.

this is how you write a meaningful and earnest and deep-cutting account of mundane things that mean the world! other authors (i cough pointedly in a manner that an attentive listener can interpret as KARL OVE KNAUSGARD) should take notes.

anyway. so good, so well written, i still dont know enough about basketball to fully get everything in this book, though.

oh to see beauty and love in your daily life, to see your beloveds first and foremost when you talk about those you see as your enemies. i think more people should be doing that, actually.
