Man, got me crying. Reading this was horrible. Horrible. That hurts so badly. Everything comes to an end I guess, but that’s the worst possible way to do it. My heart breaks for Maurice. Hit too close to home. Sometimes people grow without you. Every thing you do makes them sick. Being on the receiving end of that hurts. Why can’t I be a part of your growth? Why must our story end? How can you justify that?

This is so good!!! Not at all what i expected from the first couple of chapters. This would have been insane if it actually came out in 1915. Beyond the queer relationship, I feel like the way Maurice acts “without chivalry” and fights back against authority is drastically different compared to other books from this era that I have read.
