Just stopping in to leave a note for myself: I rather enjoyed "The Underground".

I think I'm beginning to form an opinion of Heaney at this point. Currently, I'm sitting with the notion that I find him meandering. Much of his poetry feels like a stroll down a country road, only... sometimes? There's a dead guy at the end of the lane.

There's been a few that I've really appreciated so far. But mostly I'm just one a very long, pretty, but flat walk.

Went through a bit of a big phase there, but I really enjoyed "Act of Union".
