i really don‘t think this series is for me?

i hate being employed man no time for anything

I‘m not saying this is bad (yet), just saying this is such a man story written by a man for a man. And the main character who just lost his wife he so incredibly adored? The love he claims never to find again? I bet all I got to my name he‘s getting a gf within this very book, give it another 200 pages.
