i reallyyyy don't care. dragging this one. romantasy is just not for me, i don't feel anything. it would be more interesting if they both dropped dead instead.

At least he hasn't been described as "beautiful", "hot" or something in between. He's described as odd looking for a vampire which is funny...

If this Rhain guy (stupid name btw) is the love interest... he annoyed me already. Purely from the fact because he's so obviously written to look interesting.

That prologue was a very interesting beginning. The author is slowly introducing us to the world which also feels nice and smooth.

"After all, vampires know better than anyone how important it is to protect their hearts. And love, understand, is sharper than any stake."

And this is about fatherly love! Between the vampire ruler and the MC that was adopted by him. Which makes me concerned for Vincent (the dad)...
