Just wow, I was gonna make a joke how Mr. A was butt hurt that the third time wasn’t the charm and Klein being fed up with having to deal with the descend of evil gods again, but man that ending with the author’s note was kinda heartbreaking and deep. Like despite how absorbed I was in the plot, I did notice how much time we spend on the less unfortunate. +

Also also “Sherlock Moriarty” is very on the nose 🤡 (maybe it was to digest the clown potion faster cuz 🤡🤡) like I get it’s probably a fun easter egg for Chinese readers who know Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Moriarty. But 💀… I know this still kinda works because the protagonist is Chinese (and i know deep down he is a comedian). But it reads a little goofy (I’m only kinda ok with it cuz its not my first time reading a story with their names 😭😭 *ahem yuukouku no moriarty *ahem*). But I think the author was going for the same vibe as naming characters Romeo or Juliet. But Sherlock and Moriarty really are a little too iconic to be unbothered about it. Now that Klein is going to enter his “out on sea/pirate” era. He’s using the last name sparrow 😭😭 its a lil more subtle at least ig
I was also going to say something about Audrey always coming in clutch but it the author’s note at the end really derailed my thought process 😭😭
