Aunt Belinda and Mab are reading David Copperfield together!

From a mom with four rowdy children: “‘As for me I’m going into my room and lock both doors and put cotton in my ears so I can’t hear you, no matter what happens, and then I’m going to read a book until your father comes home.’ She turned on them all a radiant and loving smile, and went upstairs humming to herself” (92).

The Christmas chapter was delightful!

“Mab opened the china cupboard and took all the dishes by surprise. The teacups were hung on hooks and all their mouths were open saying ‘Oh!’” (29).
