- A few weeks ago I read some more of this whilst on a plane and I had no other way to suffer… and I DIDN’T HATE IT!
- Shockingly, the plot improved at the last minute. It didn’t go the cliche way I expected, but it was really crazy and then good to see.
- Now I’m so so close to the ending so once my MG reading challenge is over I really hope I finish this in October!

- If I finish this by the end of the year I will have achieved something. I will have forgotten the whole plot by that point, but I’ll have achieved something nevertheless!

- Should I DNF this? I feel like I’ve gotten so close to the end but I just can’t be bothered with the to-ing and fro-ing right now and the inevitable conflict/heartbreak when she decides to leave or the absolute let down when she decides not to. Might pick it back up, but just as likely not to!

- It’s nice to pick up this book again right when the romance starts.
- It’s crazy how rude Becca was to Caleb’s mum.
- The dialogue for the adults is so cringe. They talk like the teen characters and it’s really weird.
- If you’re going to the effort of putting a nice dress on then you might as well wear heels. They don’t have to be uncomfortable ones, you can get comfy block heels.

- Poor Becca. I really felt for her when she was having the panic attack. Jumping out of the bus via the emergency exist was crazy, even if the bus wasn’t moving.
- Caleb is hilarious and smooth as butter. Locking the car door after hearing she jumped out of the bus got me. And it got Becca too!
- Jordy is cute! Something makes me think he’s the one who listens to his mum and her rules more than the Caleb does.

- I read a surprising amount of books with car crash traumas.
- I thought the boy on the cover looked Asian but it’s hard to tell from the angle and the surname Park doesn’t suggest a race. It was only once the mum walked in with kimchi and he calls her Eomma did it hit me that they’re Korean.
- Lol why do all the teen boys always have “washboard” abs. Why can they have realistically slightly defined abs?
