So consider this a soft soft dnf. I’m not dnfing it technically, it’s just going to go back to my tbr for a few weeks because it’s so damn depressing and I couldn’t bring myself to listen to it anymore 😂 like people talk about A Little Life being so sad and this book didn’t make me cry, but it made me spiral into a deep depressive state which I think is worse lmao. So I need a break, just for a bit

I like this book a lot, but it is definitely going to take me a few weeks to read 😂 it’s whimsical and fun, but what comes with that is needing more focus and processing power and I didn’t realize this book was going to be so draining to listen to 😂 so I’m having fun! But stayed tuned! I miss granny terribly already, and am hoping this new character that we’re meeting will help fill the hole so yeah!

This book gives me such a feeling of whimsy and I absolutely am adoring listening to it right now! The kind of grandmother Elsa has is definitely who I want to be 😭 that is so beautiful and such a beautiful world to raise a child into. I had a similar feeling toward my grandmother early in life but unfortunately distance has faded that feeling of whimsy throughout the years, so it’s beautiful to revisit :)
