I love this book. The only thing that just bothered me was Luthiel being asked if she wanted to take a hot bath while being covered in bandages because she's severely wounded. That's one way to make sure you'll keep your wounds open.

Truly a relief after so many terrible YA romances in fantasy books. The only thing I dislike is that I probably just guessed a big part of the plot and I love plottwists that can't be guessed easily. But that's okay.

I think I've finally found a fantasy book that may not be, at least partially, ruined by its horribly written romance. This is just my instinct talking though. But it's positive.

There's another thing that is only acceptable because it's fantasy and a whole different world because what just happened to a 15 year old girl is not anything my mind would ever feel comfortable writing about. I wouldn't even come up with it.
