I now have several ideas about the missing horse. This book is definitely littered with lots of clues. The question is which clues point towards the truth and which are the red herrings? And is Wills going to get caught breaking camp rules?

Enjoying this but I'm not too sure about this Forsaken Forest - it almost sounds like it's in the middle of their horse camp.. which is just odd sounding?

I realized the printed text in "On the Border with Crook" is small so would be hard to read in a bouncy car on the way to the ranch so will read this in the car. And the story is off to an exciting start with searching for a list horse at night with a thunderstorm approaching! Riding at night with a flashlight!
