I bloody love this book. I can vividly imagine every action on each page like I am there. The writing is evocative and yet easy to read. I just bloody love it.

It's like I know I am reading a classic.

It's getting violent and good now, although some of the backstabbing is telegraphed it is always so good to see the scheming, Gwynne writes it expertly.

It's going really well, every chapter ends giving enough information to be gratifying yet always leading you on to wanting to read a little more

Finishing Fourth Wing and then getting to read an actual book is so refreshing. I love it. I love it so much.

Although I believe reading anything written by an actual author would be getting a 5 star treatment from me at the moment. Fourth Wing is fucking shit.

It is so nice to be reading a book with genuine intrigue, threat, and a sense that I do not know what is going to happen as well as an actual interest and care for the characters.
After reading Fourth Wing it is so refreshing to get back to a book where I know nothing about what is going to happen.
Thank you John for keeping fantasy alive. The good bit, where the stories and characters are interesting.

After reading Fourth Wing I am finally back to reading a book that I wanted to read. And My God is it better. Firstly it is not all in first person which sucks, secondly it's not whiny, and thirdly it's got a plot and narrative that are actually interesting.
