Sophie set up Kane since he was listening to her in the house and made it seem like she called his mom. He came running from a van he had been listening from. She coaxed him into signing the house to her. Scott sent it off to the post office. Kane confessed to killing his dad, Oscar. He didn’t say he killed Enrico though. Marcus came by to see Sophie and saw Kane in her house and called the cops. He was arrested.

Kane had Sophie’s entire house bugged with listening devices. That’s how he knew her family had told her about his mother and that she didn’t know who she was from contact beyond the grave. He also had speakers in the floor boards which is how she had been hearing footsteps. Anatoly tells her she has to tell the police. That Kane can be arrested for recording her but it would mean she would lose the house.

Sophie invites Scott over and tells him about Venus. Kane had Scott bait Sophie so Kane could get his revenge for his Mom. Sophie thinks Venus is the killer to keep people from telling her secret. Scott is pissed when Sophie tells him about Venus and insult her when Anatoly shows up & punches him in the face. Sophie is filling in Anatoly about the strange things in the house when he figures out it’s been bugged.

Scott found Zach at a bar he told him about. Al is pissed at Lorna. Venus kicks the family out since Al doesn’t believe in ghost. When Sophie and Marcus leave he tells Sophie that Venus used to be a man. He could see her scar from the Adam’s apple removal. Sophie goes over to Amelia to ask more about Venus’ brother. Venus didn’t have a brother. She transitioned. Kane knew this. It’s his leverage over Venus

Sophie has a tape recording of her Dad telling Kane’s mom to stop stalking him. You can hear her saying they are meant to be together that the voices tell her. Kane is stalking Sophie and threatening to kick her out of the house if she doesn’t make contact with his mom. Lorna calls Sophie saying she found a suicide note from Zach and he is missing. Scott finds him and he is drunk.

Maria calls Sophie and wants to have breakfast. Maria tells her Venus is Kane’s nemesis. He can’t stand her. Lorna told Maria about what Enrico did to her daughter but Lorna didn’t want Enrico dead but wanted him to suffer while alive. Enrico had trained his parrot to lock the chain on the door. The parrot could unlock it but wasn’t as good at that command. Only Maria and Enrico knew the commands.

Leah & Sophie’s mom stop by the house. Her mom tells her about a time Sophie forgot. Sophie’s dad and her mom split up when Sophie was little. They worked things out and renewed their vows at the house Sophie is trying to buy! Kane’s mother was Sophie’s dad’s receptionist. She and Oscar let them use the house until Oscar left Andrea and kicked Sophie’s family out. Andrea was in love with Sophie’s dad.

After Sophie found pictures of her self as a child with her dad and other pictures of her dad with Kane’s mom she freaked out. But right after Marcus came running upstairs saying Kane and Scott are at the house. They hide in the bathroom and Sophie overhears Kane say he is changing the terms on her escrow agreement. Scott goes to the bathroom and catches her and Marcus but helps them get out.

Sophie and Marcus go over to Kane’s house. A construction worker lets them in thinking Marcus is Kane. Sophie goes upstairs to look around. She finds Kane’s bedroom and starts going through some photo albums. She finds a photo album full of pictures of her!! Did not see that coming!

Sophie felt her dad’s presence at her house. We still don’t know what connection there is her mom seemed freaked about. Anatoly come over to fix things with Sophie. She realized she loves him but didn’t say it. The detective came by to ask more questions. He thinks Maria did the murder. Marcus came over and he and Sophie are on their way to Kane’s house to get some incriminating information.
