I find it fascinating and incredibly heartbreaking to learn about how a person’s mental illness can turn into abuse. A lot of the stories sound unbelievable. I’ve been privileged to have loving parents and siblings, so it’s hard for me to imagine the people one loves most doing such awful things to you, but I also know there is so much evil out there.
