the writing style def leans more YA than adult, but i can see how the content of the book is not YA. regardless, i’m getting kind of bored and wish the writing had a bit more *spice* to it. i like the characters tho… but also it’s hard to get to know them bc they’re all hiding something from the reader and there are so many of them that it’s hard to keep track of what i already know about each one 😭

continuing to stay up too late reading despite telling myself i’d cut that out… anyway, everyone needs to stop underestimating aeri!!

unsure what to think of this book so far! the writing feels a bit YA to me, but it’s ~new adult~, so we’ll see what i think of it once i’ve read more than 30 pgs. rick riordan thought highly of it, so…
