The last chapter and the story has been amazing. The signs of Brooklyn possession, the slow but steady progress into madness that Alexis and Riley fall into as darker secrets are revealed, the way each chapter or pages feels like you are in the story with Sophia experiencing what she is and feeling her emotions. Amazingly written horror that keeps you on your toes and even your stomach dropping in anxiety ever page

I’m going to be completely honest but I barely have put this book down all day, the story is addicting and each page has pushed me deeper into the narrative and the world that was built by Vega. I am adamant on finishing this book tonight. Getting to see these girls slowly unravel to the whims of a demon as it uses mean girl manipulation tricks and the occult to make them fall apart has been fun to read. 10/10

Goddamn, forgot how amazing this series is. The way Vega mixes catholic imagery with horror atop the mean girls vibe of the whole book is amazing. This is my second read and I still find myself questioning if Brooklyn is possessed or simply a moody bitchy scene girl that’s how amazing this book is. Truly the epitome of just girls being girls horror + gore edition🔮🔪
