After forever and a half, I'm reading this again and had to back read a few chapters 😂 but I'm still enjoying this witchy book pre October 🪄 🎃

Still loving this book. Very much like the witches version of X-Men and I'm here for it. I feel like the romance interests are very balanced and both guys have their issues. MC acts like a teenager trying to live life for the first time and I'm here for it. I just had to put it down for a bit because of work changes and holidays.

I adore this bonding time with other witches❤️ Each witch is her own character and isn't just bland "girl group". The magic is VERY reminiscent of Wicca witchcraft and I'm eating it up the dramatics and magic.
They are the healing the MC needs and they in turn heal themselves like real friends do❤️🥲
I'm convinced Attis is a genie or devil of some kind. No 16year old boy is that smooth 😂

This is everything I want in a magical universe ❤️
Cryptic incoming doom
Mysterious deaths
Twisted and cruel society regardless of if your in or out in life. The coven is really just as awful as MC's high school bullies (and you totally believe it)
MC emotional trauma and denial and gaslit into believing the worst of all people (and kinda proven right)
The wrecking balls that are here to fix her life❤️📚

This book is just the book I need to shake me out of my funk. Dark themes and magic? Yes please!! I mean how many books start with such obvious cult-like themes?
