"for sorscha" says chaol, like we give a damn about her 😭

that plot twist was kinda... confusing? i mean i was surprised and quite excited because FINALLY there was a surprise factor, but you spent three/four books developing a villain and suddenly the villain is fawcking perrintong 😭😭😭 like what the hell?

AND FINALLY MY BABY IS BACK DORIAN I LOVE YOUUU!!!

things got.... interesting.

i really REALLY dislike maas writing spicy scenes, like where is the romance??? like REAL romance. why do the men in these books act like animals?? and i'm not talking only about the fairies but the human men too. i want to kick my feet, twirl my hair and giggle when i read about two people falling in love in love, but NOOO we got the uncomfortable spicy scenes instead.

maas respectfully we don't care where the tomatoes for the tomato soup came from.

anyway, so far i'm liking this book, but i'm not loving it. i now know why elide is part of the story but i don't think her pov is necessary, i find it quite boring.

a little bit disappointed in aelin's "controlled" plot, hope it doesn't last long bcs what the hell????

dorian being possessed is quite annoying to me because i don't like these kind of plots unless they are well done so maas better no disappoint 🤕

when i saw aedion's pov i had to pause for a moment and taleya break because i hate that man. i don't care if he dies 😭

also aelin and chaol's reunion was so tense and i don't know how aelin didn't smash his head in to the wall tbh because he was soooo annoying the whole time blaming aelin for everything and calling her a monster.

they keep mentioning sorscha like we care about her, let her rest damn.
