hemholtz was actually my favorite he was cool. he was a writer with feelings and had so much ambition. bernard was just your typical coward in a way that’s funny. i liked john until i didn’t. all three of these guys are funny though. like when they would discuss with each other and when they got sent to mustapha was funny. anyways wasn’t my favorite and wouldn’t read again but glad i read it.

i can’t with this. was hard to read and just led the male gaze in its narration. i liked the story building, even if it’s all fucked up, but it was interesting to see how the world state functioned. so i liked it until the last 30-40% of the book. chapter 13 was crazy. john deserved better but he wasn’t the hero we thought after all. also bernard was funny and i liked hemholtz.

insane like john is going rogue. people are losing jobs and having feelings. linda died. crazy stuff. and i used to like john :(
