“The memory came faint and cold of the story I might have told, a story in the likeness of my life, I mean without the courage to end or the strength to go on” - last sentence (the rhythm is sooo nice) perfectly encapsulates the entire short story !!! The End, Beckett !!!!

Filthy disgusting and gut wrenching but v funny: “they didn’t seem to take much interest in my private parts which to tell the truth were nothing to write home about” 😭😭😭
but at the part where i am he is inside an abandoned torn-down house and trying to suckle a cow in the midst of animal and human manure……
