I had no idea there was an age gap of TWO DECADES between the leads and that the h is about the same age as the H’s daughter. That’s not my jam. I stay far away from ‘daddy’s best friend’ trope and while this isn’t that, the age gap is the same cringe. So a no for me for now. Might pick it up later (doubtful).

DNF at 12%. And I do like this author. Just this book is not for me
