I also love being in Philip's psychotic little head. Genuinely don't know if I want to see him get his shit together and realize his dad is insane, or see him devolve further into his own craziness. Honestly, it's a win/win

I'm guessing it's probably polarizing and not everyone would agree, but as an Oathbringer girlie, I am loving the switch-up from 4 main POVs to approximately 200

I think my favorite thing about a long series like this is that you really get to *know* the characters in a way you just can't with a stand alone, or even a trilogy. You spend some 100-200 hours with the same people and they start to feel real. So when you crack open a new volume it feels like the familiarity of coming home.

....or maybe I'm just crazy. Either way.
