Gosh, this book is AMAZING. I tried to read it a couple years ago, & got side tracked but I'm back to it and reading it steadily now. It is such a good book. I think what I like most is how unreliable Anna Fox is. The name is a bit hilarious, too. Anna Fox, come on! Sounds like a Porn name. But reading about a drunk woman, who is house bound, because of her own fractured psyche, well, it's just really entertaining.

Still such a great book. Written intelligently and with some really original and fascinating word choices, some of which reads like poetry, and others like comedy.

This is such a great book. What I find truly fascinating is how much the author, Dan Mallory knows about recovery, serious mental illness & psychotropic drugs. He knows is stuff and it makes you wonder why. I also have to say his reputation is fascinating too. The fact that he lied about his past is incredibly interesting. I bet he would be cool to talk with. The book continues to deliver. It's just a fabulous book.

The backstory around how I got this book, (the 1st edition in the paperback copies) is that I found it sitting on top of a dumpster in the back of a Dollar Tree store, a year ago. I suspect it was stolen from a porch somewhere. But lucky for me. I took it home, dried it off, (it was getting rained on) & kept it in my office. I began reading it two weeks ago & I have to say, I'm hooked. it is SOOO good. So very good!
