I’m picking this up again and damn, I forgot how boring it is. Plus Kimmerer is so unfunny re-telling jokes from her old students. Why does she repeat the same sentiment over and over again simply with different stories?

Reading this has made me realize The Serviceberry is essentially an elongated chapter of this book simply substituted with a different metaphor :/ Makes it less special. I’m glad I read it first.
