Do I go back and read ASOAAB so I’m caught up on Poppy & Cas and where that left off?? They’re so long but I almost wanna read the one before it because that had the big fight.
This is why rereads of series that feed into one another are so difficult to figure out :/

Yay trauma! Spoilers*
She’s distraught but Nektas calms her in her Nota form. Ash arrives & they talk. Now is the time to take action.
They call other Primals.
Keela joins. Mya on board but cannot stand against Kolis due to a sworn fealty she was forced into, so she decided she needs to die & Aios take her place once she gets affairs in order. Primal of Sea: he’ll stay neutral.
Sera figures out she is preggers.

She wakes to Ash not there. He got pulled to the Pillars and they realize it was due to massive death in mortal realm. Oh no.
Sera goes to Wayfair to discover everyone massacred, including sister, her wife, and mom. Kyn and other primal there, but Kyn runs and Serakills other guy. Has to quickly ascend Penelope since that primal died. In her rage, she brought back some but mortals are life for a life, so she killed.

…Ash & Sera make plans for how to imprison Kolis. Vessies tries to come warn Nyktos to take deal.
In starting to open up to Ash about her imprisonment, she changes to Nota for 1st time. Runs and he chases all night so she’ll settle. Tries to play it off as no big deal and not major trauma.
Another night of opening up to Ash fully after realizing it wasn’t “nothing” when Kolis had her in a cage, but….

Becuz of the offers of deals, they enter an “airini” where they can’t hurt one another and Sera can’t call the other primal for aid as it would upset balance.
Sera goes back to Wayfair to warn sister of coming war that would affect mortal realm. Makes sorta peace with mom. Callum was there cuz he gets lonely so sera kills him again…

Notes to self with spoilers:
Kolis, upon awakening (after the attack from Sera in escaping his imprisonment), takes only a moment before using a Fate (Aydun) to be go-between in a summons of Sera, not Ash. Sera must comply to meet on Kolis’ terms. He offers deal to let Ash & Sera live in shadowlands in exchange for Sotoria. She counters w/ letting him live with no power. But Kolis weaponizes her fear (death power)

Notes to self for future reads:
Sera & Ione talk about time when Sera was imprisoned: ione understands being a “favorite” and also about when Sera ascended and she brought back Ione, but not Ektor. Ione wasn’t ready to die.
Sera wants to bring “life” *eyeroll* back to shadowlands and can’t wait for the rain so she brings water back with new primal powers. In doing so, she unintentionally wakes Kolis.

Ugh.

I was so frustrated at the seeds of this but hoping I was imagining it. But when Sera finally gets confirmation and shares with Ash? Excitement?! I thought it had only been 6ish month. No… only 3. And they’re immortals. They had thousands of years to have these twins.
