Weird to read so much about a plan that I know (from reading the other books) does not actually come to pass (unless Collins forgot what she wrote before).

How could haymitch possibly know who beetee is, when haymitch is 16 and beetee is old enough to have a 13 year old child in the games? Beetee would have won before Haymitch was sentient.

I do NOT buy the retrofitting of characters into this book, esp the Covey but also Katniss's parents.
