I’m struggling so hard with this series! Just started the third installment and already I’m heaving a sigh at having to trudge through. I’m not feeling a connection with the characters, Julien is the least masculine vampire I’ve ever encountered and Sarah is whiny, petulant, and unnecessarily argumentative. Not to mention the whole backstory of Vampire lore leaves something to be desired.
