I'm understanding the characters better now that I am farther in. Cady still doesn't know anything about her accident and even her best friends still won't tell her anything. She is struggling with headaches. "You have no idea what it feels like to have headaches like this. No idea. It hurts" (Lockhart 129). It hasn't picked up much yet. I think that her memories will come back and she'll be shocked at the accident.

So far, We Were Liars is a good book! It is a little hard to keep track of all the characters, though. The main girl Cadence got in an accident and cannot remember anything about it. "It is true, I have no memory of my accident. I don't remember what happened before or after" (Lockhart, 50). I think her friends know what happened and won't tell her. This book is very interesting!

Hi Esther! Love that you are understanding the characters more because that can be hard. Hope that you are still enjoying it even though it has picked up; it can make it a little hard to get into reading. Do you think that there is a possibility her memories won't come back? I can't wait for your final update and review over this book.

Hi Esther! I'm glad you understand the characters better now. It's interesting how Cady's best friends won't tell her anything. This reminds me of a book called "Restart" where a kid lost his memory from an accident. I hope it picks up for you soon! Maybe something will spark Cady's memory and it will all come flooding back.
