This might DNF for me. It’s beautifully written but so overly bloated I’ve found myself skipping whole sections. I truly wish this had been tightened up more. I was hooked after Roots, quickly the story began to drag through Trunk, and now in Crown I am skimming and losing track of the threads. It’s such a shame because the writing is decadent in parts.
