I am NOT against tropes in romance, but I think the grumpy x sunshine stuff just isn’t for me (btw the “sunshine” character is in fact not sunshine) cause the whole time I’m stuck thinking “man, people do NOT act like this.” Unnatural/exaggerated characters can work, but so far this story takes itself and it’s characters relatively seriously, so it doesn’t work
