I picked up this book around Halloween, which turned out to be perfect timing. The story follows a group of teenage girls who find themselves pregnant and sent to a home where they’re expected to wait out their pregnancies, deliver their babies, and then hand them over for adoption. While there, the girls begin to dabble in witchcraft, which adds an eerie, unexpected layer to the story.
