I liked it. Now time to read something more uplifting. I think they were relatives at the end but it had been a lot of generations since their family tree split, but they both came from the fire woman, one came from the sister who was in the dungeon and the other one came from the beauty who got to marry the English man. The sisters never met.

It’s an interesting story. I like all the characters and how they connect to the one from the very beginning, a little sad for what I was looking to read, but hopefully my next read will be more uplifting. I’ll try to stay away from historical fiction from now on, just too sad.
