MC Olivia Bishop is smart and a professor. She is divorced from husband she married as a grad student. He is 15 yrs older and serial cheater but she was young and thought he was smart and sophisticated only to find he is a callous user. He continues to shove his newest young thing in her face at events and tries his best to control her and make her feel like a loser. WHY does she put up with this? Stockholm syndrome?

Kind of lost interest in this one but will keep it on back burner for a week or two. This is a lite rom/com type book and I like the first book of the series but this one not so much.

Have not read this is a week or so as it seems kind of boring.

Pretty lite contemporary romance with small town feel. Jamie is trying to plan his restaurant addition with the help of Olivia who he has started sleeping with. They are opposites attract for sure. He has been the carefree guy in previous books but now we see his more serious side but Olivia is just looking for fun. Will Jamie get hurt?

Jamie is less than thrilled when he finds out she is using him as he hasn't dated in a YEAR. He's worked hard to clean up his reputation and this is what he gets?

Jamie is 29, asks Olivia out, she says no as she thinks he is too young, probably because her ex is 12 yrs older than she is. Olivia then decides to ask him to a faculty function when she finds her ex will be there with his latest way too young date which he always shoves in her face. She divorced him but he still acts like he has the right to control and embarrass her.

The Donovan's are tight knit family and Jamie is considered the screw up. He meets Olivia at book night only to find she is his teacher at some college classes he is secretly taking to improve the brewery and maybe open a restaurant.

Olivia is divorced 35 yr old teacher. She married her ex when she was 22 and he repeatedly cheated and said it was her fault as she was boring, so she divorced. Now she is trying to start over, make friends (which is hard for her) and find her way. She joins a book club only to find it is just a women's gossip night at a brewery to ogle the bartender Jamie Donovan. Book 1 was about his sister Tessa.

Not started yet as the Ravenels have me busy.
