There's a pretty hilarious and brilliant exchange on how the desire for goodness and the well-being of one's fellow man ultimately leads to the collapse of civilization, Yoda-style. Obviously it's twisting logic to fit one's world view, but it does make one think.

I'm finding this story Tobe so much easier to follow than previous ones of the duo,thugh I don't know if it's the story or the fact I better understand the motive of the two necromancers.

Thus ends my procrastination of continuing on with reading Malazan.
Truth is, I didn't want to battle Malazan while reading Stormlight Archives as both are rather massive epic fantasy book series. Except when I finished the latest Stormlight book back in May.
What can I say? Malazan requires a particular dedication for me to confront and appreciate its brilliance.
