i have skimmed this book up to the 75% mark and i still cant find the will to keep reading it. unfortunately, i think this is a DNF for me. i just cant connect to the characters. love the spice but everything else, the conflict, tension and banter, i just cant buy it and some of this feels somewhat creeoy so blah

I’m feeling conflicted because even though the sexual chemistry is great, the romantic chemistry between them falls a little flat for me. I think they balance each other out nicely, but they don’t really have lovable banter or sparks flying between them. It’s just a lot of giggling and off handed remarks (imo)

I really dont like how often everyone is addressed by name, i cant keep up with them all and its making my head spin. so far i like it but its kind of hard. it fells somewhat predatory but y'know, its still fine i guess. there have been some good and genuinely sweet moments. im hoping for it to get better.
