I don't necessarily want to keep DNF'ing books, but I'm dancing on the edge of this book slump, just Starting to rise out of it, and reading something that feels boring isn't exactly helpful right now.

Honestly, I thought Kemmerer was an instant always favorite author, but this one feels so light on plot, and when I'm just trying to rouse out of a book slump I feel like I need more concrete things to keep me going.
