So far so good. It’s not scaring the heck out of me but the supernatural elements are malevolent which I like. It’s a good story to boot. It’s about a family who move into the dead, abusive father’s old house. The house is haunted but so is the town it’s located in. And there are a lot of deaths according in a supernatural and gory way. I like it.

Goodness, I don’t know how to feel about this book. It’s back to back tropes. Nothing original or genuine. But it’s not entirely bad. The premise is good: a loving family with issues, each with character traits and each with gifts. Parallel universes and demons. Serial killers. Just this amalgamation of tropes I guess. It’s a little annoying but again, it’s not as awful as it sounds.
