picking up the pace finally 🙏

i'll be honest the first half is way more intriguing -- not that i'm not enjoying it now (apart from the dreaded chapter 20), just that i felt more pulled in 🙂‍↕️

"Of course Achilles could outrun a turtle" and as someone who's only ever interacted with jujutsu kaisen i was like omfg from the gojou satoru line

chapter 20 should have been scrapped. it doesn't add anything new to the narrative (whatever we explored with the characters and their relationships has already been explored beforehand, and this doesn't really elaborate on that, rather repeats it) & the usage of an attempted rape scene when there has already been a rape allegory established earlier feels like overkill. a pretty disappointing, boring chapter
