Evangeline and Jacks have really fun chemistry but I feel like the narrator’s voice takes the charm and banter out of it.
Sometimes I wonder if the voice actress hiring pool is just so shallow that … you what you get 🤷🏾♀️ Because there is so much whimsy and flirting in these books but it just falls flat. She’s more Harriet the Spy than a cotton-candied hair princess.
