In my picture book/graphic novel era 😭 🍼💗 Pregnancy has officially taken over. My typical fantasy, romance & smutty books have become too dense to read (lol momnesia). And now all I can think about is picture books and building a cute, little, nursery library!

Evangeline and Jacks have really fun chemistry but I feel like the narrator’s voice takes the charm and banter out of it.

Sometimes I wonder if the voice actress hiring pool is just so shallow that … you what you get 🤷🏾‍♀️ Because there is so much whimsy and flirting in these books but it just falls flat. She’s more Harriet the Spy than a cotton-candied hair princess.

Back to this book again! 💗 I swear I am in love with this trilogy but I am finding that I cannot stick to a physical book for the life of me. I was 90% through the second & dropped it for like 6 months. So I have started over, but with the audiobooks 😌

i’m so close to the end but i need a break 😭 this book is pitch black but super tender at the same time. plus, i had a couple theories of how this will end & i’m just not a fan of either 😭… this is not a DNF. i plan to finish soon. but damn!

was anyone else confused like … right off the bat? i wanna keep reading because i was gifted this book during a book swap (& they SWORE it was just what i’m looking for) but i seriously have NO idea what going on (maybe it’s pregnancy fog) 🤷🏾‍♀️

really liking the switch from past to present … looking forward to seeing how it all comes together. not liking word choice. trying to be poignant but it honestly takes away from the flow & the moment.

i freakin love the way Jordan & Pike get at each other. their banter is too damn cute, hot, fun … all of it!

i honestly do not love this authors writing style … but i feel like this book is going to be a lot of fun. so i’m not gonna put it down just yet.

i love this little synchronicity where from one book to the next there will be characters that share the same name.

i wish she had a smart comeback for Haisley because Una is actually pretty smart. but i also like the fact that she is awkwardly learning to navigate what it means to be alpha female.
