okay i’m not sure what drew me to this book .. all i remember is finding it on some reddit post. i’m not fully convinced i’ll finish bc the writing is basic AF (which makes it easy to read ..& a little cringe).

thankfully i spoke too soon! this book took a better turn than i could have hoped for!

i hate it when the FMC & MMC have to part ways so close to the end of the book. it makes me feel like (if they don’t rejoin in this one) then the next one will be largely about waiting for to be together again… 🙄 & that’s boring to read.

i have not read anything on wattpad … bit it’s definitely giving that vibe.

i have never heard truer words! there is soo much thinking & calculating & scheming that the dialogue gets lost sometimes!

i love this trilogy l so much & i need to give these books more attention.

i love the way this curse has two main jobs within this story … the first, driving the mystery around Lonnie AND her magic. & second, keeping the sexual tension maddeningly alive.

i don’t love that you can’t tell who she’s ultimately going to be with … & i definitely don’t love that they are cousins … but at 88% i’m not going to stop now

it feels like ALL she talks about is when is “when you murdered me”!! it’s kind of redundant & super annoying.

hmm … can’t believe im at 40% in this book bc it feels like nothing has happened. it’s entertaining i guess …& leaves of questions hanging in the air but just feels uneventful.

anyways … i love that Bale calls her little monster!

this book started kind of slow… Wow! It’s taken so many twists and turns

omgg! what?! stopping to ask for a condom in an OV book seems backwards to mee!

i’m soo stuck … i’ve been trying to read all these autumn/witchy themed books & get all up in my cozy, fall vibes but … idk if it’s actually doing it for me lol! i’m in the middle of all these books & i don’t want to stop but i don’t want to go further either!! 😩

i love it when i go from book to book and find the same names. Maya was the main character in The House in the Pines & there is a supporting character in this book named Maya. it’s a fun little synchronicity when it does happen!

enjoying the book so far, off to a good start. but i’m just a little confused how omegas in this realm are both worthless AND sought after …?

so far so good … moves at a good pace & says enough to keep you curious and engaged bc it’s slightly creepy.

not gonna lie, this book is cute but kinda boring. it’s well written & fun …. but i feel like i am just a fantasy kinda gal & need that touch of magic to keep things exciting haha!

pop culture made me do it! i can honestly say that’s the only reason i am reading this book because i currently feel like it’s just … 🥱 && maybe this is my fault for opting to listen to the audiobook but the narrator’s voice is seriously just too silly. everyone sounds goofy af! so, if Ali Hazelwood had a say in who read her books for the masses to enjoy then … i’m judging her!!
