I'm a great lover of Virginia Woolf's "Letters" - 6 volumes and her "Diaries" - 5 volumes. I take a great delight in browsing through them from time to time. But this novel - why on earth did her husband Leonard allow it to be published? Woolf said she was not happy with it before her death. Why were her wishes not respected? So far I find the work extremely childish and boring. Sad... what a damned shame.
