I loved Reid unconditionally until his date with Daisy. He's acting like a white rag and then saying there's no chemistry. At least Daisy is talking about herself, even though she's portrayed as the typical white girl college student cliche. He's judging her for her room choices as a child, for having a job lined up at a preschool academy? This is normal first date conversation. Weird way to say you like Millie/Cat

I like Cat better than Millie and idk how because they’re the same person, but yes, Cat, ON PRINCIPLE, but also no, Cat, you can’t bring your ex up in the 3rd message to someone new you’re talking to girly

This book hits so hard with just losing my mom in April. I know Millie was 12, but when shed said, "I remembered every detail about Mom, and her laugh and her smile and her tight hugs. Frankly, I didn't know how to move about my space, my day, my life w/o a mother." Even at 27, it feels like a giant void in my life. I still talk about my mom like she's still here. I wish she was still here.

I still like this book but the conversation between Ed and Reid is sassy af and that’s just what happens when female writers write men most of the time. What straight man comments on all his guy friend’s looks? 🌈

I have a mom that was extremely uncensored around me, but I’m her daughter. I think Reid’s mom needs to take that energy to her daughter not her son. She’s so far the only character in this book that I don’t like. The manipulation of making Reid spend his bday with you bc you pushed him out was cringe 😬
