Third and last part of the books. Every step to the Capitol is more symbolic than literal. It's as if everyone went into the heart of human corruption. And that's why the name "The Killers" is not only for the special team, but because everyone - somehow - already has blood on their hands.

That shot is the blow of reality: Katniss tries to save the morals of the cause, but the war drowns her. It is at that moment that we must understand that the enemy is not only the Capitol, but the violence itself and the thirst for power that is disguised as justice.

I had never felt such cold while reading a scene. Not a physical cold, but one that comes from the soul — the kind that leaves you frozen, with a knot in your throat. When Katniss and Peeta finally reunite, I thought it would be a moment of relief, of comfort after so much pain. But what happens is the opposite: the longed-for embrace turns into a nightmare. The purest bond in the entire story has just been broken.
