Truly delightful so far! I’m obsessed with the premise, prose, and adventure/intrigue of this book! I’ve never read anything quite like it. It has all the magic and charm and clever narration of the children’s fiction I loved growing up, while also being a “research journal” for a Cambridge professor. The perfect fall read + very humanities girlie :)
