I can't w/ her, I'm OUT. I'll have to put this on hold for a while or else I'll die appalled and filled with rage.
The pacing in this is atrocious enough (how many scenes Scott bad, Nikki dgaf does a girl really need?), but the self-sacrificing got to me.
At this point, Meoraq is some king of saint and Amber is a masochist.
It pains me to say it, 'cause the worldbuilding is so good and the writing is very compelling
